The Book of Psalm states in chapter 92 verse 1 states that it is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto his name, O most high. Getting a new job is definitely a moment for praise, worship and thanksgiving.
Hereunder is a short prayer of thanksgiving for a new job that you can say:-
Thanks. Thank you so much for your favour! Thank you for your goodness and kindness towards me. Everything I have and everything that I will ever have is what you have entrusted to me.
I thank you for considering me a humble servant to represent you at my new place of employment. I am forever grateful for this new job. Lord, this is truly my dream job and I am so very grateful that you have answered my prayer.
Grant me the courage to walk confidently and perform this new role with excellence. Help me to be patient with colleagues and add value whenever and wherever I can. Give me quick understanding that I may grasp concepts speedily.
Show me where I can take initiative and add value to the role and organisation. Allow me to spot errors and cover me under your blood. Help me to have a great relationship with my boss and colleagues. Permit my light to shine in each and every encounter with everyone.
Father, I am truly very grateful for this new job. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
In Jesus Name.
